Another award for Linn Records!

2007 continues to be a successful year for Linn Records and our artist as yet another album has been presented with a prestigious award. Jonathan Freeman-Attwood's album ‘La Trompette Retrouvée' has been awarded ‘Album of the Year' by the esteemed Polish audiophile publication High Fidelity. Their review of the disc, in which the trumpet and piano rediscover French works, stated "this is just a brilliant disc! Starting from the music, through performance to overall sound quality".
This wonderful achievement for Jonathan Freeman-Attwood comes shortly after being appointed the new principal of the Royal Academy of Music. "To lead this world-class institution in the next stage of its illustrious history is a great privilege" he stated. In addition to this prestigious post, Professor Freeman-Attwood will continue to be an active critic, lecturer, broadcaster and performer. This success is incredibly motivating news for Jonathan who releases his new album of baroque trumpet works, "Trumpet Masque", in April next year.
