Linn Artists at Glasgow Jazz Festival

Linn Records artists Ian Shaw and Arnie Somogyi's Ambulance are set to perform the repertoire from their recent albums in concerts at the forthcoming 2008 Glasgow International Jazz Festival.

Shaw will perform tracks from his acclaimed new album "Lifejacket" as part of a UK-wide tour. The album was described in The Guardian as "classy as ever" and "sophisticated" in The Times. His performance is on Thursday 26 June, 2008.

Meanwhile, Ambulance follow their sell-out February tour with this date some further festival appearances at Aldeburgh and Brecon Jazz Festivals. Their recent album, "Accident and Insurgency" was reviewed superbly with BBC Music Magazine describing it as "dynamic" and the Independent on Sunday stating it as "marvellous". They will perform in Glasgow on Sunday 22 June, 2008.
