Artur Pizarro on BBC Radio 3

Artur Pizarro will be interviewed on BBC Radio 3's In Tune on Tuesday the 2nd December. The Portuguese pianist will discuss his recent release of ‘The Complete Piano Works of Maurice Ravel Volume Two' and his upcoming performance at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Tuesday the 9th December. Artur's performance, which is part of the South Bank Centre's acclaimed International Piano Series, will officially launch this album and he will perform ‘Gaspard de la nuit' from Volume One of the collection.

Volume Two has already earned the pianist some fantastic feedback. In addition to awarding the recording five stars The Sunday Herald stated: "These are masterful performances...", whilst BBC Online commented: "This is a deeply pleasurable disc, and one I believe Ravel would have approved of".
