Internationally recognised as Britain's greatest Jazz guitarist, Martin Taylor has collaborated with the cream of Jazz talent. He has recorded albums for Linn with violinist Stephane Grappelli and guitar-picker Chet Atkins and has worked with Peggy Lee, Nelson Riddle and Yehudi Menuhin. His critically acclaimed solo album "Artistry" topped the UK Jazz charts for six weeks in 1993, while "Years Apart" won the BT British Jazz Awards in two categories: Best Guitar and Best Small Group. In 2002, he was appointed MBE "For Services To Music", in The Queen's Birthday Honours List.
